River Safari on Chobe River with Chobe Princess Namibia January 2017

By car to Kazungula, about 1,5 hrs drive from Livingstone after a confusing bordercrossing process
Kazungula ferry takes one vehicle at a time so the queue of lorries waiting to cross the river was long
Unloading our bags in ?, that was the big question, which country were we in now?
Jump on board
Bags on board and off we were
leaving Kazungulas messy "harbour"
Fingers pointing in all directions to verify where exactly which country is
Arrival at Impalila Island after another confusing border crossing between Botswana and Namibia
and then by foot upphill in the mud
to the immigration office to register us in Namibia
Finally we were on the river to our Chobe Princess Houseboat
again some paperwork before take off and dinner
I was exhausted, what a confusing day
Next morning I was greated by this wire-tailed swallow
after breakfast off we go on the Chobe river for some safari
A Pied Kingfisher was sitting and waiting for us
and some Black headed herons (I think) were disturbed by our presence
an eavel looking small crocodile in urgent need of braces
young Nile crocodiles do not spend much time in the water so therefore you see them frequently
Nile monitor spotted from the boat by our excellent guide
African fish eagle mate for life when they find the right one to mate with...
Our guide asking:" Do you see?" Us wondering:"See what?"
the lizzard! It was incredible what eyesight our guide was in charge of
